This policy explains what data Sanedni (the "App" and the site sanedni.com) collects, why, and what your rights are. Sanedni connects families with verified specialists in child development and support.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Sanedni. For any question about your data: contact@sanedni.com.
2. Data we collect
- Family account: email address (used to log in with a one-time code sent by email, or through Google Sign-In, in which case Google shares the name and email address of your Google account with us), first name, wilaya and, if you choose to provide it, an optional phone number so specialists can contact you.
- Specialist account: email, identity, profession, supporting documents (diploma, accreditation) used for verification, and profile information.
- Usage data: searches, favorites, messages exchanged through the platform, appointments.
- Technical data: device type, notification identifiers, connection logs (security).
3. Purposes
- Connect families with specialists and make getting in touch easier.
- Verify the identity and qualifications of specialists.
- Enable messaging, appointments and notifications.
- Keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
4. Legal basis and consent
Processing is based on your consent and on the performance of the service. Sanedni is intended to be used by adults (parents, relatives, guardians) and is not intended to be used directly by minors.
5. No data about children
Sanedni does not collect any data about a child (no name, age, health or needs information). The app only connects the account holder with specialists; no information about a child is entered or stored.
6. Processors and providers
To deliver the service, we rely on trusted technical providers:
- Google Sign-In (Google) — sign-in with a Google account.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — push notifications.
- Cloudinary — image and media hosting.
- Pusher — real-time messaging.
- Heroku — API hosting (api.sanedni.com).
- Netlify — hosting of this website.
These providers may process some data outside Algeria. We ensure they offer appropriate security and confidentiality safeguards.
7. Retention
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active, then deleted or anonymized, unless a legal retention obligation applies. You can request deletion at any time.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and access is restricted to authorized staff.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete and withdraw your consent, as well as the right to delete your account (directly from the app). To exercise these rights, write to contact@sanedni.com or visit our help center.
We never share your phone number without your consent: it is optional and only visible to specialists if you choose to add it. We do not sell any personal data.
10. Cookies and analytics
The sanedni.com site is static and uses no tracking cookies or third-party analytics. Any change will be reflected here.
