This policy explains what data Sanedni (the "App" and the site sanedni.com) collects, why, and what your rights are. Sanedni connects families of children with special needs to verified specialists.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Sanedni. For any question about your data: contact@sanedni.com.
2. Data we collect
- Family account: phone number (used for one-time-code login), first name.
- Children's data: first name, age and the needs/specialties sought, entered by the parent or guardian.
- Specialist account: email, identity, profession, supporting documents (diploma, accreditation) used for verification, and profile information.
- Usage data: searches, favorites, messages exchanged through the platform, appointments.
- Technical data: device type, notification identifiers, connection logs (security).
3. Purposes
- Connect families with specialists and make getting in touch easier.
- Verify the identity and qualifications of specialists.
- Enable messaging, appointments and notifications.
- Keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
4. Legal basis and consent
Processing is based on your consent and on the performance of the service. Data relating to a child is entered and managed under the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian, who consents to its processing. Sanedni is not intended to be used directly by minors.
5. Protecting children's data
Information about children is only visible to the parent account that entered it and is never made public. We apply data minimization: only the data needed for support is collected.
6. Processors and providers
To deliver the service, we rely on trusted technical providers:
- Twilio — sending login codes by SMS.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — push notifications.
- Cloudinary — image and media hosting.
- Pusher — real-time messaging.
- Heroku — API hosting (api.sanedni.com).
- Netlify — hosting of this website.
These providers may process some data outside Algeria. We ensure they offer appropriate security and confidentiality safeguards.
7. Retention
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active, then deleted or anonymized, unless a legal retention obligation applies. You can request deletion at any time.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and access is restricted to authorized staff.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete and withdraw your consent, as well as the right to delete your account (directly from the app). To exercise these rights, write to contact@sanedni.com or visit our help center.
We never share your phone number without your consent and we do not sell any personal data.
10. Cookies and analytics
The sanedni.com site is static and uses no tracking cookies or third-party analytics. Any change will be reflected here.
